But in their defense, Urban radio kinda gives you that advantage to release as much as you want. You can just drop a single link and move on. It's not as orchestrated as Pop released are.

When you count singles as lead artist, features, and promo singles, Nicki has released 72. Rick Ross has released 103, with 80 of them being released in 2009 or after.

I think it's important to note that Rihanna is most likely the reason why those singles are #1's.

I do agree that urban acts can release how many singles they want without having to worry about flopping. I doubt Drake promoted half of those singles.

I think features should count in most cases. Like for example, Chris has a lot of features but like 85-90% of his features are with either absolute nobodies (or people who were at the time) or people who haven't had a hit in years and are looking for one and are only really a hit because of his hooks.

But in other cases, I don't know.

Rihanna was a big part of the success of say, "Live Your Life" and "Love The Way You Lie," but both T.I. and Eminem had just come off number one singles before then and sold tons of ALBUMS. Let's not give Rihanna too much.

With all the drags Eminem does to female celebrities you'd think he steer away from ever including a female 'entertainer' with basic vocal, dancing, writing, etc ability in his songs.
