Timbaland is a bit redundant, but you can say that about just about every producer. Once you set a tone, you tend to follow it until it dries up. And yeah, his best work is definitely with Aaliyah and Brandy.

"I Tried" is better than anything produced by Timbaland on Beyonce's album, btw.
