I think people are honestly doing the most on him.

His albums before did the same, if not, less WW. Granted he had 'Blurred Lines' last year it's a flop; but he obviously was gonna come nowhere near that even if he came with good crossovers.

He's just back to what he was before 'Blurred Lines'. That's all.

Unpopular opinion but I can't stand Timbaland's productions. Like almost every song of his is just The only stuff of his that I'd say "Oh yeah, I love this song" are his songs on BEYONCE, which not so ironically sound nothing like his typical stuff.

He's just back to what he was before 'Blurred Lines'. That's all.

His album shouldn't have performed the way it did in the US, though. "Blurred Lines" was never going to garner him long-lasting pop stans, but he still should have had a base to go back to with his next toned that era. The way he executed it was so wrong. Naming his album after his estranged wife, making creepy videos, etc. It was so blatant. No one wants that ****.

Now I see she was just a product of Madonna(Alanis->Dido->Nelly) that couldn't get traction and had to be serviced to a different market.

He could've did decent, but he tarnished his image further with this era, the album was absolutely horrible, and he didn't even produce a charting single. It's expected.

His albums before this NEVER performed THIS badly, and don't even bring up The Evolution because that's when he was establishing himself and that album went on to do nearly two million domestically. His album could have had decent enough sales, certainly higher than 20k, with the right approach.
