Azealia on Bethenny

Promoting her new album and performing her new single Paradiso, Azealia Banks appeared on the talk show Bethenny which is hosted by Bethenny Frankel today. The episode was promoted as the revival of Bethenny as a tv show and due to this, 4 million people in the US watched Azealia Banks' appearance on the talk show. The performance of Paradiso helped both Reborn and the song Paradiso on iTunes greatly. In the interview with Azealia, Bethenny talked about making her album Reborn and also what her plans after this are. Full of laughs and smiles, this was an interview everyone could enjoy.
Before the interview though, Azealia Banks gave a killer performance of her new hit song Paradiso. For the performance Azealia Banks wore a cone shaped reflective hard silicone skirt that was salmon colored. With this outrageous skirt, Azealia also wore a latex baby blue bra. All matte tones and complete with white Giuseppe winged heels, this outrageous Azealia outfit caught the eyes of everyone watching their tv. All the latex and silicone on the outfit was designed by Dolce & Gabbana from their upcoming Haute Couture collection. On stage with Azealia, metal palm trees and matching metal lawn chairs cluttered the stage in what was a tacky industrial beach setup. The instrumental started for Paradiso and Azealia swayed her hips to the beat and began rapping with her arms moving to the lyrics as she said "You can sun if you want to, fun if you want to" With this cute and lively performance, the crowd went wild and loved every minute of Azealia's stage presence through this amazing performance of Paradiso. After a commercial break, Azealia sat down with Bethenny for an interview:
Q: So glad to have you, Azealia. That performance of Paradiso was great. When me and my girlfriends go to the beach this weekend we are definitely going to be blasting this song perfect for summertime.
A: It's really great to be here! I'm so glad you like Paradiso. It's one of my favorites off of Reborn and it really is perfect for summer, which is what I made it for. It fits perfect with the mood of summer and the beat of the song is really good to get into, you know?
Q: What inspired you to make Paradiso?
A: Well I have a song on my Fantasea mixtape which I released in 2012 called Paradiso and it actually served more of the purpose of an interlude, you know? It was less than a minute long and I had so many fans wanting the track to be longer so I just had to go in the studio, snatch up some new producers, and make this a totally new song. I'm really proud with how it turned out.
Q: Well it turned out great and the fans obviously agree as it's doing great on iTunes. It's the second single off of your album Reborn. Tell us about that.
A: Well Reborn is my second album with this label, my third album altogether. It's a really different album from what I've previously released. It's all about what I was feeling while I was in the hospital from my bus accident. Because if you remember, after I released Free off my previous album Domination, I got hit by a bus and broke my legs. I wrote Reborn during my time of healing and it really reflects where I was in my life during that time, you know?
Q: It's great album that anyone can relate to. What's next for Azealia?
A: Well what's next? I actually want my next official album to take after the New Orleans Bounce genre. I've been listening to that a lot lately and it's inspired my work. I also have a big surprise for my fans next week that I think no one will expect.
Q: We can't wait to see what the surprise is! We'll be looking out for it. Thank you for coming here Azealia. Everyone at home be sure to purchase both Reborn and Paradiso on iTunes!

Azealia on KISS 108 Boston

Promoting her new album as well as her new single, Azealia Banks went on call to talk about her new album Reborn and her new single Paradiso on KISS 108 Boston. Azealia tweeted about the radio interview beforehand to let her fans know of her appearance on the radio show. Since Azealia has been in California these past few days, Azealia phoned in the interview. Despite this, the interview was no different from what it would be.
Along with the interview, Azealia gave an acoustic performance of her song Paradiso where she rapped each line with a beat she was creating over the phone. Each line was as it was on the track and Azealia even included a new verse to the song for fun. The radio hosts were all amazed by Azealia's abilities to perform her song like that and clapped for her. The interview with Azealia Banks took place before and after this little quick performance Azealia gave KISS. Read below for highlights of the interview:
Q: Nice to have you Azealia Banks! Welcome to KISS, your first time being interviewed here.
A: Nice to be here and yes this is my first time being interviewed here. I'm so excited about it too. I listen to you guys all the time while I'm in Boston.
Q: That's awesome. Tell us about your single Paradiso. You released the video yesterday and it's gotten 12 million views in 24 hours. Wow, that's crazy!
A: Yeah I got a new single out everyone. It's called Paradiso and it's off my new album Reborn which also just came out. Buy them both on iTunes everyone! Yeah it is crazy though like 12 million views have seen my music video in only 24 hours. I am so excited for the success and it's been so much fun for me to have this song be a success. It's one of my favorite songs I've done so I'm happy with how everything has worked out for it.
Q: Your new album Reborn is killer. Paradiso and Vibes are my favorite songs off of it. When you were recording Reborn did you get emotional recording the sadder songs like Deep Grays?
A: I actually cried in the middle of recording Deep Grays. You can actually hear me in the outro a bit crying because it was so emotional recording it. Deep Grays is about the sadness and grays of my life taking me over and bringing me into a depression. It was a tough song to record. I'm glad I have happier songs on the album like Paradiso to bring cheer to the mix though, you know?
Q: Yeah the song is crazy sad and emotional. We love it though. Nellee Hooper did great producing that track. Paradiso is the complete opposite of that though. That song can make literally everyone and anyone happy just listening to it.
A: Yeah that's kind of what I wanted. Reborn travels through my emotions as a person and it makes it so anyone, really anyone, can relate to the album, you know? It was so much fun recording the album. I am so happy with the success I've had with it, I can only hope it does well on the charts.
Q: We hope and believe it will. You have a concert special on CBS coming up where you'll be performing songs off your album Reborn. Tell us about that.
A: Yes I have a special on CBS coming tomorrow, Friday on as I said, CBS! It'll be huge! I will perform all my songs off of Reborn as well as be interviewed by Barbara Walters. I am so excited and I want everyone to watch it.
Q: Well we know we'll watch it. Thanks for coming here Azealia. Everyone at home needs to go buy Paradiso and Reborn. Until then, here's Paradiso playing at the top of every hour on KISS 108 Boston.

Britney Spears On Wendy Williams
--------
Britney stopped by The Wendy Williams Show for an interview + performance
Highlights of the interview
Wendy: So, Britney.. tell me about this bad girl video you surprise released last night I mean what were you thinking?
Britney: I was thinking I wanted to give my fans a video so I gave them a real video that wasn't fake and over-edited and made to fit a certain image. I invited Lindsay and Paris over we had too much to drink we got wild and recorded it for the fans.
Wendy: Don't you find it a little desperate for attention?
Britney: No I find you desperate for attention though, trying to throw shade at artists every week and then inviting them to your show for the views you need to keep this on the air.
Wendy: Uhm, Britney now lets not talk like this. I've always loved you I just don't support some of your decisions sometimes.
Britney: Yeah you only support me when I'm #1 on iTunes, I see right through you Wendy.. you only invited me here to get the first scoop on last nights video but I got nothing to say, it was me and my girls drinking and getting wild, kept it as real as possible and the full uncut footage is on the remixes EP.
Wendy: Now uhm I hope you don't really think that I only support you during your best times Britney gurl.. haha.. uhm.. I love you, now uhm can you give us some exclusives about the album?
Britney: It's an electro-pop/urban record. There's a lot of sex jams on the album which will be good for you Wendy to you know spice up your sex life, there's a bunch of songs that make you wanna dance, it's a feel good Britney record. Non-stop smashes from start to finish, this whole record could be played at the club all night long.
Wendy: Ooh gurl you know I'll be buying this album, clap if you'll be buying this album! *audience claps* It comes out July 13th, correct?
Britney: Yea this Sunday.
Wendy: You have your MTV documentary coming out Saturday right which basically documents you getting ready for the album, talking about last year, doing the photo-shoots, performances, videos, I mean basically everything you've been doing the past few months and a tell-all interview.
Britney: Yeah it's so much stuff, it's like everything about The American Dream era going on right now and talking about all the stuff last year, it also shows me getting ready for the naughty girl tour.. so it's a really good two hour special.
Wendy: We actually have an exclusive preview of the documentary so lets roll it
-- clip shows Britney rehearsing in dance studio for Gimme Your Best tour performance, working with a large group of dancers and perfecting the moves, also shows Britney choosing outfits for the tour--
It looks really good I can't wait to watch it now uhm Britney how do you think your kids feel about your recent sexual videos and performances, I mean you kissed two other VS models last night while you claim to be in a relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Britney: First of all my kids love what I do, they love having a pop star mommy and I don't show them the over-sexual pictures and stuff that I have out there, I make sure they don't see those but they love being on the video set and watching me rehearse the dance moves. I don't claim to be in a relationship Wendy, I'm in an actual relationship with Cristiano and I don't care about your thoughts. He knows it's part of the gig and performance and he actually enjoyed seeing me makeout with two hot girls, maybe you should do something like that for your man Wendy, do you even have one?
Wendy: Lets not make this about me.. haha.. uhm.. anyway, lets just move along to the performance.
--------
Britney Spears took to the stage wearing a long red gown, holding a microphone. She sang the first half of Gimme Your Best fully live as a slowed-down ballad version. She didn't move much as smoke surrounded her on the stage. Once the first half was over, the stage suddenly went black as an audio of Paris, Lindsay, and Britney was heard "I like a bad girl".
The stage lit back up as Britney ripped the red gown off, revealing a red lingerie set with long red latex boots. Paris and Lindsay were on the stage as well in the same outfit with different colors (Paris=pink, Lindsay=black). The girls danced on stage to the chorus of the Gimme Your Best (Bad Girl Mix) which was blasted through the speakers. They performed a dance break with splits and leg kicks to the hot instrumental beat of the Bad Girl Mix. Paps came on stage holding magazine covers of their latest video with headlines such as "Girls Gone Wild", Paris Lindsay and Britney pushed the paps off the stage and broke their cameras as water rained down on them. They moved down to the ground and sensually moved their bodes on the now wet ground, flipping their wet hair. They began to rip each others minimal clothes off as the song came to a close, smoke surrounded the stage and the girls before any private areas could be seen and Wendy Williams faded to black. The performance was immediately uploaded to Wendy's channel and is getting a massive amount of views and media coverage, #BritneyParisLindsayGoneWild and #BritneyWendyWilliams trended throughout the performance.

Marina & The Diamonds Popup Show
In San Francisco
Marina & The Diamonds had a surprise for San Francisco citizens planned today. After the back-to-back releases of her EP, a remix of her single "Where The Diamonds Grow", and a remix EP, Marina took to twitter to post an announcement of the concert:
Fans in the area rushed to the park and waited for Marina to arrive. At 12:30 AM the lights on Marina's stage started shining and dashing all over the place. Fans went crazy and pushed towards the stage, anticipating Marina's appearance. The beat of "Where The Diamonds Grow" started playing and a roar of excitement comes from the audience. A fog machine filled the stage with fog as the roar of the crowd got louder and louder. Marina rises out from the fog and the sheer screams from the audience could deafen a man.
Wedding bells ring as Marina rises. When she reaches the stage she brings her microphone to her mouth to yell out "HOW THE **** ARE YOU DOING SAN FRAN ****ING SISCO!!!" The crowd goes wild and Marina jumps into her song 'Where The Diamonds Grow". They all sing along as Marina passionately and energetically sings her latest single. Near the end of the song she throws her hands up and money shoots out into the audience. The crowd cheers and Marina smiles as she brings the mic to her mouth. "Hellllooooooo San Francisco!!!" The crowd roars. "Most of you probably know this, but I have an EP I just put out called 'The Money EP'. Well, this is my thank you to all the people who have supported "Where The Diamonds Grow" and the EP. This next song is a cover." The crowd goes wild as the beat of "Hollaback Girl" starts and Marina rips off her wedding veil. She throws the wedding veil into the audience and begins singing. The crowd sings along and Marina even let the crowd finish the song. At the end of the song, the harmonica-backed beat of "No No No" begins and the crowd roars. Marina smiles and begins to sing the song in a less energetic performance than her previous ones. At certain points in the song Marina giggles. When the song end Marina walks backstage to change costumes very quickly while the instrumental beginning of "How To Be A Heart Breaker". She runs back on stage in an outfit reminiscent of a cheerleaders.
She sings "How To Be A Heart Breaker" up until the chorus, where she points the mic out towards the audience as they sing the song. Marina is very moved by the huge crowd singing along and wipes a tear from her eye before continuing the song. When the song end, Marina starts talking to the audience once again. "Thank you guys so much, for being here and singing along. You guys mean the world to me. That's why I wanted to tell you first that my new album is for sure going to be called 'Myths'" The crowd goes absolutely wild. "The title track is about a man who I loved, and he didn't love me the same. He told me lie after lie. He was so mighty in the myths he told me. Most of the album is about a man I loved, and how he ****ed with the wrong girl. Here's the title track, Myths." The crowd went crazy as the *****-popping beat of "Myths" started. Marina grabs a denim jacket from backstage and puts it on as she starts singing. The performance isn't an energetic one, with Marina singing to the audience in an amazingly passionate performance. When she reaches the chorus the crowd roars because the crowd roars because they know they're about the be slayed so ****ing hard. Marina's vocals are on point as she finishes the chorus, a few members of the audience passing out from sheer excitement. She finishes the song and says goodbye to the audience. Marina was seen on her way to Azealia Banks' concert after the popup show.

Sorry to everyone for being late as hell with this magazine again. This takes time, so I won't have a set date for this anymore. It'll come randomly each week.
Azealia -- New Success, New Enemies, and New Music
Your lead single to your forthcoming album, 'Vibes', went to #1. It's your first #1, and your label's first for any artist. How was the news to you guys?
It was outstanding for all of us. We were thrilled to have such a big hit on our hands. I knew as soon as I recorded Vibes that it was a hit and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I can only hope my new single, Paradiso, is just as successful.
With a successful single already unleashed to the charts your new album is upcoming. Can we get any special details? Title? Tracklist? Next Singles?
Yes i just released my new album Reborn and I already have plans for the album after Reborn. I plan to go into the New Orleans Bounce genre. I have lots of work with Big Freedia and I have high hopes for it. Next single? Well after Paradiso all I can say is that the new single will definitely be huge and very unexpected. I won't disappoint.
With you atop of Female Rap, would you be willing to work with any Female Rappers? Rappers in general?
I actually had a collab planned for my album with Iggy Azalea but after her label's CEO went to jail for a month, I don't know what the deal is anymore. Since my album has already been released, maybe it can still work and be on Iggy's. I'd love to collab with other female rappers though. I admire people like Nicki and Missy.
In midst of your feuds with BET, Jay Leno, and plenty of artists do you ever think about how this potentially damages your image? Do you have anything to say on the subjects?
It's not damaging my image in any sort of way. At least it's not damaging my image for the people I care about. BET, I called out for being homophobic and Jay Leno I called out for being a misogynist. The only people that I'm damaging is my career for the misogynists and homophobes and I don't write for them anyways. My fans will always support me and I know that for a fact. The only beef I've had that's actual BEEF is with Rita Ora but she's responsible for that mess, not me. With the success of Vibes and Paradiso, it's clear to see whose side the public is on.
Taylor -- Success from Her Point of View
Now that you aligned the charts with a #1 single with Zendaya, will the single continue or do you have a new single in store?
I think the song has another week of life left in it. You know I've released very few songs from every album because they're out for so long. My promotional single, Loving The Wrong Way' charted for over six weeks, same with Swarovski, but I feel like the next single or two will be out from a week to three weeks. I've been featuring a lot so these songs are going to be going by pretty quick.
How do you feel about the recent controversy of you 'saturating collaborations for hits'?
If I were saturating collaborations for hits I wouldn't have just gotten my third number one album. It's not a collaboration if I'm the only one promoting either. You know I've proven with my nine consecutive top three hits that I can get a hit on my own, six of those were solo by the way. Let people talk though... If they want me to prove that I can get a hit on my own, I will.
Do you have anymore work with upcoming artists?
I have something planned but there's no set release date for it. Everything coming up is just me. I wanted to get all the collab work out of the way.
Have you started working on a new album yet? Any details, or sneak peeks?
I have. About 90% of the album is finished and it's my last week in the studio. The album is a complete throwback, it's rock-disco, it's like Blondie meets Donna Summer really. I've worked with Giorgio Moroder on the record, on about nine songs out of the twenty I wrote for it. 'Loverboy' is a track we worked on together and it's just full of sass and spunk. It's gonna be a really exciting record. I can't wait. Expect it in a few weeks.

FIRST REVIEWS FOR LOSING ME COME IN + CRITICS PRAISE RITA FOR PENNING A HEARTFELT FEMINIST ANTHEM

Wow.That's the only thing that came to my mind after hearing Rita Ora's new single, 'Losing Me'. From the first line to the closer, Rita captivated the listeners with her lyrical prowess sending a positive message to young girls out there, that they are worth more than their ex's deserve. The song is charged with heavy synths and deep 808 pulsating throughout the course of the song. Simply put, It's a masterpiece. 5/5
-Entertainment Weekly
It's all downhill after me, Rita exclaims in the opening lines of her new female empowerment anthem, 'Losing Me'. She lets her no-good ex know that she will be even stronger than she was while they were together. 'Losing Me's verses are filled with little metaphors that show Rita's expertise in songwriting. However, the song is much more than just its lyrics, Ora's vocals tame the otherwise wild, and psychedelic synths and beats. Rita has destroyed the blueprint for all female artists out there and she did so with only her debut single. Big tings are bound ta happ'n fer ya gerl. 4.2/5
-Clash Music
She's taken a huge swing at the music barriers and broken through. 'Losing Me' is a gumbo of funk and psychedelic rock, mixed with powerhouse vocals from Ora herself and a little backup from her co-writer and possible new flame, Boots. "Losing Me' is like a anti-gravity roller coaster in that it starts off slow and within a couple of seconds explodes forward unexpectedly. It differs in the sense that the song never dies down in momentum at the end. The arpeggiated synths come in after Ora delivers a powerful opening line "It's all downhill from me" and carry on until the end. Even after the track finishes playing, it keeps looping on in your head. It's that catchy! Rita delivers a thrilling ride that continues long after the song itself ends. 5/5
-The New York Times
Ora delivers vocals, lyrics and soul in her debut single 'Losing Me' and I don't think we can handle the perfection. From start to finish, we are sucked in to Boot's amazing instrumental production and Ora's surrounding vocals. It's musical heaven. 5/5

It's only been 2 weeks, and most of you promoted 1 week so don't let the overall chart get to you too much.
+ her album has still outsold Two Eleven, and can come for 'Human' if you promote this week.
But mess @ Brandy always under messy labels.

slé @ Azealia's single being the best selling single so far.
I have a question, I've been mentioning Vibes here and there in articles and I performed it once along with Paradiso and I'm going to perform it again at the CBS concert special. Is it possible for Vibes to chart again this week with Paradiso and get Vibes platinum?

Yes.
Beyonce/Kanye/Jay doing 329k with their new single, and their previous single doing 129k last week is an example.
Just make sure you also tell me in your promotion list to look at the work for the 'Vibes' too. As Carlos put in his: "All of them are promoting 'On Hold' the lead single from the album, 'Enraged' the 2nd single & 'Count The Kills" the album."
