The Toronto show has been sold out since 2013, though.

It's no surprise venues end up adding extra tickets by the time the concert gets closer, though. They're usually nosebleed ones or from unsold VIP packages. There were probably like 100 tickets still available yesterday because of that, and wow, considering the arena hols like 14,000 people, shocking indeed.
Not to mention a big part of these were most likely bought last minute at the arena box office and the empty seats you're talking about could be unsold StubHub tickets, something that doesn't really matter considering they were once bought on Ticketmaster and are counted as sales whether people show up or not.

I feel bad for people with these kind of seats.. It's like that piano literally gets in the way of everything, I wish they put in a lift on that little stage to elevate the piano up and down and have it come up with she actually uses it because people paid money for a show they can't see

- perform which ever singles she chooses in FULL with exception of Just Dance and Telephone
- cut short J&D's
- cut short one or 2 of the songs from ARTPOP
- perform Born This Way as the album version, the acoustic one drags out for far to long

Lmao, no, you're wrong. No one at the shows give a **** if the songs are cut short because no one is thinking about that, they're thinking about having a good time, which is what happens. She can only play for a certain amount of time, so in order for her to play all of her the songs, some have to be cut short. That's just how it is, and it in no way makes it "poorly put together".

Drove home and my friend and I were literally discussing this, how SeXXX Dreams was shortened but between us we couldn't even think off the top of our heads what part was missing, there's so much else to focus on.

Lady Gaga's artRave tour a psychedelic dazzler

Lady Gaga's current ArtRave tour rolled into the Air Canada Centre Wednesday like a psychedelic three-ring circus, making the most of the singer's trademark eye-popping dazzle.

What a pity no photographers were allowed to record what is a visually ravishing show.

Lady Gaga kicked off with the song Artpop. She appeared before 17,000 fans in the sold-out house, rising from below the stage like some fabulous sea creature with tentacle wings, accompanied by plenty of dry ice and silver confetti.

She got a roar from the crowd by reminding them never to be ashamed of anxiety or any form of mental illness or instability, then launched into Born This Way. Singing the song ballad-style and accompanying herself on piano gave Gaga a quiet moment to remind the crowd what a superb voice she has.

Lady Gaga's outrageous showmanship (showwomanship?) reached a pinnacle of sorts when she changed her costume and wig, on stage, her only nod to modesty the fact that she kept her back to the crowd. It was impressive, amusing and unexpected--much like the rest of the show.

This was pop spectacle at its finest, and her energy never flagged.

ARTPOP, as it turns out, isn’t as devoid of hooks as its detractors claim. Even its weaker moments get the body-moving job done when their basslines and kick-drum tracks are accorded the full might of an arena P.A. and the charismatic presence of a creator clearly committed to flying her freak flag, come what may, for the long haul. Pity no one lured Beyoncé over from her nearby date with hubby Jay Z at the Rogers Centre for five minutes to take up her part on “Telephone” and put the gig properly over the top, but Lady Gaga is still doing singularly fine on her own. She’ll be around for a while yet, and applause will follow.
