I find this a little ignorant and boarderline offensive at parts, but okay. I understand the general idea they were trying to convey but that article is a mess.
This "appropriation" nonsense needs to stop. If people want to twerk, they can twerk.

The author should have been way more clear because the emotion in the text makes them appear less objective (though they have the right to feel miffed). Even so, they're kind of right. Reminds me of this exchange:
The stereotype of a "fierce black women" weren't really celebrated by the media(social mostly ,but otherwise as well) until white gays embodied those characteristics and "normalized" them.

The girls on ATRL probably gonna get mad but I agree with this. Little white twinky teenage gay boys acting like a steorotypical sassy black woman is annoying and offensive and needs to stop. Just like gay boys aren't a straight girls accessory, a black woman is not a white gay boys accessory.
