Red sold more in International markets though. Also don't forget the album market shrinks each year. It is down by about 15% in the US this year so far. This is a larger drop than usual, but the drop is very significant when it accumulates every year. Taylor's sales buck the trend to some degree, but even she is not completely immune to market decline.
I expect LP5 to be the best selling album released in 2014 in the US by a long way (maybe second to Adele, we'll see). The current top sellers for 2014 releases are currently (as of July 3rd 2014)
