I can feel that you care about it so much. Me too. Yes, it's a little bit complicated. I talked about Weinstein's obvious intention, then all are on Taylor's hand. The inspirations might push Taylor a little bit.
For the risk, The Giver song, if existed, will obviously be a sad song. Some of us including me feel that LP5 will be happier. So why not a happy song as the lead single? Then it kind of balance the soundtrack and album, on the other hand, it also increases the diversity which is a good selling point.
For acting and soundtrack, if one of them wins, she will not lose. My feeling is she will win them both.
Once again, the above are just based on my assumptions, or logic, not truth.
