Charli XCX performs at Electric Daisy Festival
Just a few hours ago, Charli XCX made an appearance at the Electric Daisy Festival, where she was one of the headlining acts. Thousands were waiting for her to appear on Stage. She made quite an entry on stage. She arrived, by air, coming from the top of the stage while wearing gigantic angel wings. This is one of the first times she used such props for her performances.
She started singing 'SuperLove', which is trakc #2 on her new album 'Devour My Heart'. It was also released as promo single back in 2013. When she landed on stage, the crowd was already hysterical and she started to dance around in her white fur leotard while wearing white buffalo boots.
"Thank you for being here guys! My name is Charli XCX and this song is called 'Grins'!" said Charli at the end of the SuperLove performance. She started shuffling around the stage as she usually does at the beginning of this song. Her voice perfect, especially during the chorus.
Charli then started hyping up the crowd, she jumped and started to ask the crowd to Jump along to the beat. She started screaming the usual 'Boom Boom Boom Clap!' before starting to sing 'Boom Clap'. The crowd sang along to the lyrics.
She then decided to sing the club banger she wrote for Icona Pop and on which she is featured 'I Love It'. The crowd sang along again. Charli went crazy during the song, she moved around while doing hairflips and similar things.
Right when she said 'I love it for the last time', she disappeared while an interlude started playing. When she re-appeared, she was wearing a red top with a black leather leotard underneath it with huge black booths. And she revealed that she was going to premier 'Tokyo Lights': "Angels... I've revealed a snippet of this song just a few days ago, my album 'Devour My Heart' is out next week and this song is the opening tracks, I hope you like it as much as i do, it's my favorite track on the album... this is TOKYO LIGHTS!"
She started singing the new song with a lot of emotion while the crowd went crazy, with screaming fans everywhere. The powerful Electro-Alternative-Pop song is an obvious smash.
Pink lights were shooting everywhere. During the chorus, Charli danced a lot from doing random yet great moves to choreographed hairflips, she was just great.
When the new song 'Tokyo Lights' ended, Charli started singing 'You're the One'. "My new album is filled with songs like this one! I love it so much!" she said. Her voice was perfect as usual, she even added a few lyrics towards the end.
Next on the setlist was 'Nuclear Seasons' the opening track on 'True Romance'. During the song she started tearing up and she went down to hug some people in the crowd.
The last song performed was 'Alone in the Dark'. Before the performance, she changed into a denim outfit while an interlude featuring Brooke Candy was playing and she was singing the intro from the 'Alone in the Dark' Remix (Feat. Brooke Candy)'. When Charli appeared on stage, she sang the song energetically. Towards the end, the performance started to be a recreation of the performance on American Idol with dancers in the background and the purple, blue and yellow lightning.
After thanking the crowd, Charli left the stage.

Today, Sky Ferreira took to Twitter to drop her new single titled 'Teen Witch' which will be featured on her currently untitled album which will also be her debut on her new record label, Ultraviolent Records.. The synth-pop banger which bears a resemblance to the Ghost EP fan favorite track, Lost In My Bedroom, brought a fresh summery vibe to the music industry that is destined to smash the charts soon.
"I released an album on my other record label called Night Time My Time with a very alternative-rock vibe, but while recording it, I realized that it wasn't the type of music that I wanted to be making," Ferreira tells her hundreds of thousands of fans on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and various other social media websites, "This new song is what I have been wanting to release for such a long time, and I'm glad that I can finally share it with all of you! Thank you to Ariel Rechtshaid, Justin Raisen, Diplo, and everybody over at my new label, Ultraviolent Records, for having the same vision as me."
Fans may know the song title 'Teen Witch' since it was the working title of one of Ms. Ferreira's many demos that was eventually released on the 'Night Time My Time, B-Sides Part 1' EP, Werewolf, but she assures that it has nothing to do with that track. When asked about it on Tumblr, Sky replied, "As I stated before, nothing I did for the Night Time My Time album was really 'me'. It doesn't share any similarities with Werewolf (I Like You), so you won't need to worry at all, haha!"
Be sure to look out for this infectious dance track on the charts since it will definitely be making waves!
