From the top to the bottom: exactly 50 weeks ago - after its title track had spent five weeks at number one and sold a million copies - Robin Thicke's album "Blurred Lines" debuted at number one with 25,981 copies sold. Without a hit single to help it, and following a slew of negative reviews Thicke's new album "Paula" - which concerns itself largely with his break-up with his wife - is at the exact opposite end of the chart, debuting at number 200 with sales of just 530 copies.
Can someone explain to me why Madonna has so few video views (and no bs like "not remembered," "fading," etc.)? Why does she still not have a Vevo account?
because she knows if she did re-upload them onto Vevo, the views would be embarrassing in comparison to her contemps
They did! And they gave Gaga every chance to keep it with their stacked promo for Do What U Want - unfortunately, she would have rather purposefully sabotage every performance (aside from maybe the AMAs and Alan Carr) and come off as unlikable as possible. How does she repay them? She kills them in her next music video.
I still stan hard but I'm not one of those people delusional enough to blame a label that gave their artist everything and more. It's all on her.

Her videos are spread out through several accounts, including messy fan made ones that are in LQ, and many are not available in many countries around the world. I have no idea why she doesn't have a VEVO.
Madonna has some great classics - most haven't really reached the youth of today but that doesn't really diminish their impact or relevance. The fact that 4 Minutes probably is more remembered than some of her best songs is just outright tragic (though its a great song itself).
It's because Madonna doesn't have classics like Mariah Carey, Céline Dion, Cyndi Lauper, No Doubt, The Cranberries, Whitney Houston, etc have
Kinda true. She has many classics, unlike most of those, but they all have one that's bigger than any of Madonna's.
MHWGO, IWALY, Christmas song, Don't Speak etc.
YouTube is not a universal indicator for whether or not something is a classic. "My All" by Mariah has as many views as "Dancing Queen". Does it mean they are equally well known? Of course ****ing not.
