I'd approve of Kesha appearing as a featured vocalist on a Calvin or Zedd track. In fact, I'd even encourage her to do another feature following the success of "Timber". The gaps between her own albums are quite lengthy, so it would be wise for her to keep her name out there in some way other than that show, which doesn't seem to be that popular anyway. As for her own album, I don't think producers such as Avicii, Calvin or Zedd can offer her that much more than her Doctor. She seems to be over the monopolised workings of the industry and just wants to create authentic music that primarily comes from her.
Calvin produces more than just dance music though, that's why he'd be great with Kesha. He could tone it back a lot. I think a lot of fans are misunderstanding Kesha's want to make authentic music that's true to her and are going to be surprised when we get a record that's still very pop-oriented. Kesha is a pop star and wants to make pop music, just with more of her soul in it. Dance music doesn't have to be just surface level.
pretty much what i've been saying for months. she's good on one of their songs, but them on one of hers is a bit reductive
Yeah. Another problem about them is that they both churn out so many songs with similar production traits each year. The last thing I want is for her music to sound recycled and disposable. I'd rather she find, create or reinvent her own sound and not have critics or people say "oh, this sounds like (song name here)". In other words, I'm against her being given some hot beat that any girl can record over. I just think she wants to make something timeless as opposed to 'of-the-moment' fodder.

the whole reason i split it into tiers was so they would all be equal in size, if i hadn't mine would've been a little different
i also based my decisions on the overall quality of the song, rather than just which is my favourites. again, it would've been different if i had just chose my faves.
