Absolutely every little detail of this video was a massive step up from everything they've done before. The sets, costumes, choreography, cinematography, direction... Everything was flawless Plus, it's seductive enough to get people talking and generate more views, but not so much as to make the public think of them as trashy.
I like how there's always something to watch, always something to keep your eyes busy. You can watch it multiple times and still not feel like yeah you've seen it all now. There's no point where I feel like okay, enough of this scene, move on. Plus I don't want the song to end, even that repetitive part just so I can see more of each scene.
I love that Camila's runway outfit still has a bow on it. Even Camila's strange hair works for what they're doing. And her awkward facial expressions are just so her.
I like all the braids in Normani, Ally and Dinah's hair. Dinah's little break part is great. I like the way she messes with the hat.
It's telling me for sure Ally does all the "woo!"s right?
Lauren. Runway. Enough said.
Normani's dancing. I mean I've always loved it but I love that she gets to be front and center showing there is no dance she can't do. Absolutely love her hair in the runway setup too.
I really like that there's diversity even among the background photographers/arm wrestlers/extras.
Only complaints are only against the filming and not the girls:
I honestly do not get what the black arm band at the end does? Or what it relates to on the phone? It almost looked like I'm supposed to believe wearing it makes you arm wrestle stronger or something.
The BTS cameras sometimes had better angles of the scenes. Like when Camila beckons the guys closer. The BTS shot of that I liked much better than the one that ended up in the video.
