Look at the chart positions, little foot. That's what I was linking to. The certifications are always not updated properly and incomplete on Wiki, this is universal knowledge. But chart positions are usually quite accurate.

Rihanna's individual single sales for songs like RB & WMN? are so-so, but they're certainly also not bad by many means. The amount of songs that she's gotten to become certified/multicertified and her overall single sales for her entire career is impressive in itself.

WFL & Stay were pretty great sellers & still sell today, so it's not like every single song that radio plays of hers undersells. It just depends on the individual song with her, and her sales can be really volatile.

As for RR vs. DWUW, DWUW had more airplay in the US and did pretty decently globally and actually went Platinum (and was not certified 2X Platinum thanks to streaming points like Russian Roulette).

RR was the 21st best selling album of 2010 vs ARTPOP was the 25th best selling of its year.

The discrepancy between the two is minimal.

Add that in to Last Girl on Earth Tour's like $40M gross to artRAVE's $85M - $100M gross (likely) and well...
