Not the comments on The Lord's article dragging Currie like that.

I think reality TV singers have been killing real music for 10 years now, they are all corporate made mediocre talent karaoke singers being pushed on us as real talent when all they can do is sing other people's songs --> Like a Carrie Underwood. --> Carrie has a very nice voice but all she does is sing other peoples songs as she has very little real talent for music as she does not write any of her own songs
They better praise the real artists.

Great music artist's write there own songs and touch our hearts with there own songs --> Beatles, Dylan, Taylor Swift just to name a few of the great ones!
Y'all do too much on Jennifer. At least give her credit for her performance in SLP!
!!!! Every movie she does she is praised and this one isn't different!! Yet SYG hates her
She is the new Jolie! except she will be actually attractive and iconic
I'm not much into gospel, but the pop their gospel songs are kinda A+. God Made You Beautiful by Beysus, Someday by Britney, I Wish You Well by Mimi and Fly Like A Bird which genuinely takes me HIGHER >
Yeah, I don't disagree with any of that, my main issue is with the the degree to which she minimizes how *who* you are able to appeal to/connect with may be just as significant a factor in the results yielded and whether or not your audience segment is more or less likely to pirate your output.
I don't think she was trying to trivialize that aspect of it. It seems like she was trying to highlight that building a relationship with fans through your music is a good way to commercialize and support your album sales as an artist, independent of the type of music or chart success you may have. A good chunk of the audience that contributes to her 1M+ debuts is the segment most likely to pirate music, after all.
