Ella is a great fit for her but I'd like her to try some of Billie Holiday's classics - nothing like Strange Fruit, that'd be way too controversial, but I'd like to hear some sadness and jazzy blues along with some cheerful tracks.
I noticed some monsters saying "mess" and all that in the "ARTFLOP" thread only to notice that 4 threads been made within seconds and then continue to praise her in one of the other threads cause they must have noticed how big the response was and she's still getting people riled up. What kind of fake mess
Funny how many of us didn't like pop music before Gaga.
I only listened to rock/metal music up until 2008 when I was suddenly slayed by Britney's (who I loathed) Circus - only the title track though. Then after a couple of months I got bored of it and I returned to pop in February of 2009 when I saw a friend's status on facebook being lyrics from Just Dance which I instantly Googled. I became so obsessed with her that many of my friends can't stand Gaga because they got tired of me playing her songs all the time (BTW era). Once my best friend said "If you play that song one more time I'm leaving" and I did and she actually left lol. My boyfriend says he hates her too but he listens to DWUW, ARTPOP, Donatella, MJH, Manicure and Venus every single day and when I call him out he's like "I hate her but I just love this album". It's literally the first Gaga album he adores. Flop taste tbh. :-P
Been on Spotify for the last hour and a half scoping out all the potential Cheek to Cheek tracks. Ella Fitzgerald has been slaying me so bad. This is going to be a beautiful album.
I'm excited to hear Paradise, and how they change Captivated, if much at all. Captivated is by far Gaga's best ballad, so I'd love to see a performance if it does indeed make the record, as rumours are suggesting.
