This is a really reckless thing to say. People lost their lives on that ship, blaming it on "celeb gossip" is really insensitive. It was entirely down to the ship agency to make sure everything was safe, and they failed, it has nothing to do with gossip or celebrities or the entertainment industry.
And if this is supposed to be ironic, I don't think it's that funny to joke about things like this, just saying.
