EA ruined SimCity and now they are ruining Sims 4. How can you not have Toddlers and Swimming Pools? All for having ''more believeable emotions for your Sims'' which is pointless when the Sims all look cartoonish and not as real as Sims 3 or to ''manipulate rooms'' or whatever that means. Can't you already have ready furnished rooms in Sims 3? This is just too much.
If you want to play with those old features and without the new mechanics, keep playing The Sims 2 and 3... Why complain about The Sims 4 when it isn't even out yet? Change isn't that hard to deal with, and if you don't want to deal with this change you don't have to.
I don't even care, I don't do children. I usually get the richest Sim on the town, be a home wrecker and and break his couple then, and go with the money...
They are gonna go under sooner or later those sports games only go so far.
Yes. I can only hope someone (Will Wright?) buys out the stock for The Sims and SimCity franchise and give them life yet again. I truly fear for The Sims. SimCity was brutally harassed, dismembered, murdered and then left to rot by the side of a dumpster. Truly despicable.

They aren't giving us new features though other than a CAS.
Of which they also removed CAST, which allowed you to customize and use patterns and colors.
This wont help quell the fire. They didn't even really explain why they couldn't add toddlers and pools.
Useless blog post and they could have kept all this instead of still trying to sell us the "emotions", "come alive" and Build/CAS bs.

This philosophy would work if these so called changes weren't taking away basic features.
Paying loyal customers have a right to complain they want to support the sims but EA is trying to kill the series.
I can't believe how much terrible PR work they are doing. They must be passive aggressively trying to get this delayed because nothing about this screams optimism or helpful. Nothing about this article would make anyone happy lol.

If we don't complain now TS5 will only have 1 sim in the entire world and you can't live on a lot larger than 10X10. If we don't complain the game we've all loved will no longer exist.
