I think something near a total domination was achieved by Taylor Swift during the Sparks Fly era. I can't find receipts but I recall her album art EVERYWHERE on the iTunes charts.
But now, due to preorders, I feel like a record label can abuse iTunes preorders and just release 10 songs out of at least 11 and then just have them all occupy the top 10, inflated.

Idk if this exact screenshot is real but I do recall Taylor being EVERYWHERE in iTunes when Sparks Fly released 4 years ago so i kinda think it is real
