Another obvious point you could have made is f(x) debuted in SM so their physical sales are bound to be at least decent, and that's exactly what their physical sales are, decent. Nothing impressive in the big picture, and definitely nothing impressive when compared to other SM acts. ONLY impressive when comparing to other girl groups.
Should we also go into their digital sales? f(x) in their 5 years of being active has only had ONE Top 10 year end hit song and that was the same year Gaon got messy and when DA's decreased in the later half of the year and gave songs released earlier a HUGE benefit on the year end chart.
