I agree 100% about HC and MDNA being late when it comes to "jumping on trends"

But I think she put her own twist on it and she kinda revitalized it for a bit e.g notice how similar the degradation anthem Blurred Lines sounds to Give It To Me I blame Pharrell . MiracleWhip as for MDNA EDM has come back a lil bit and a certain pop girl recently released an EDM album with a certain DJ saying ''We are gonna show this old lady how EDM is done'' but that's none of my business . Also, Little Mix 3 months after the release of MDNA released an album called DNA and Cheryl's Call My Name video has the MDNA album cover effect in it .

Ofc she puts her twist on it, otherwise we'd not love/like/use it

That GI2M thing... well, the music trends comes back in circles, I was just telling to somebody how cool it would be if HC and MDNA switched release dates, I mean, imagine, with MDNA in 2008, before The Fame etc when this whole electro/dance-pop craziness started, she'd be on a roll! Just like COADF, ahead of the pack etc. HC released in 2012 right before when the funky sound was in again, god, she'd be smashing left and right. Very funny analogy imo
