There's been albums when I got them digitally, but liked them SO MUCH I went out my way to get the Physical.
I did with Drake's 'Nothing Was the Same', Rihanna's 'Unapologetic', doing with Mariah's album, + I'm trying to get 'Yours Truly' and 'ARTPOP' physicals for cheap.

I purchase all my faves' albums (and have started collecting Christina's physical singles) with my own damn coin and if somebody has released a quality record then I usually dish out a few pesos for them too, ESPECIALLY if they're struggling in terms of sales or they have fancy packaging

The last album I bought both digitally and physically was BEYONCÉ. The others I either buy just physically of just digitally. I own 3 copies of self titled though

Nnnn Dom do you buy albums physically, and where do you exactly buy them? I bought my "Zendaya" album from iMuzika website, but **** it was expensive for a broke bitch like me, I literally spent about 80 LTL on that one.

I wanted to get 'Ultraviolence' in physical - the box set/physical looks STUNNING but it's just too expensive, I'm pretty broke and my parents are already annoyed with me buying any kind of music in the first place so I try not to push it And I was looking for some Gaga merch on Amazon yesterday, I think 'ARTPOP' is like $7 there
And WAIT - do you own 'Divas'?

There were some awesome ones. Back in the early 2000s I worked for a couple of labels. Two different artists had promotion tactics that ended up pissing people off and actually backfired on the aritsts.
Sherrie Austin has about 30,000 copies we sent out where we swapped around the order of the tracks and did the, "Brilliant Mistake" promo. We'd send out autographed CDs to the 30,000 that received them and notified us. Turns out, people were just pissed and she took a hard hit on sales after that.
The other was Jeff Carson. Curb put out two versions of the album one for the East Coast and one for the West Coast. The songs were supposed to be different on both. lol Well, they were and the East Coast they messed up and no one out there ended up with a copy of his single at the time, Real Life. Well, that was towards the end of Curb and Jeff got pissed off and the backfire eventually ruined his career. He's a cop now.
A lot of my early work was in country. So, I don't have lots of pop girl experience until about 2010.

Amazon always has albums cheap here.
I literally got 90% of my Mariah albums for $4. Just $0.01 for a used Very Good condition + $3.99 for shipping.

I literally bought Miley's cd's after 3 months of release, because in Lithuania it's expensive as f**k, so I went to visit my grandparents in USA, and I bought all 7 copies of bangerz.
I got Pixie Lott's albums from Lithuanian shop, for 10Lt. There was a discount so I bought it.
And Rihanna's some here, some in America. I paid 90Lt for LOUD

Oh my @ those backfires.

How come labels don't have their artists do MDNA's, as in bundling the album with touring tickets?
I mean 1 million people on tour is an easy Platinum if you bundle the album with the ticket price?

its so hard and expensive to collect singles in the US. I have every Katy, Marina, and Lana album, usually the special editions or box sets, but not a single ( ) single.

Well you're lucky, I'm stuck here in Lithuania. Right? Everything is so expensive in this flop country, ugh I want to move out as fast as I can.

That was the first CD I ever listened to and that's how I discovered "My All", "Make It Happen", "Man, I Feel Like A Woman!", "Chain of Fools", etc. - I was like six though
