Marina & The Diamonds on Rising Star
Tonights Rising Star episode started with a bang as singer Marina & The Diamonds sang her newest single "Where The Diamonds Grow" in arguably her best performance yet! The episode start with a view of the show's iconic wall, which displayed a sky of stars. The stars began spinning rapidly until the came into a formation resembling Marina's eyes. Some stars twinkle, but a large twinkle from the center of the right eye shines brighter than the rest. The twinkle remains as the eyes fade into Marina's actual eyes. The song "Hollywood" plays for at least 10 seconds, then Marina reaches her hand up to her face to draw on a heart. "How To Be A Heartbreaker" plays for 10 seconds and the audience roars. Tears form in Marina's eyes and a tear drips down her face, going right through the heart. Marina wipes her eyes and wipes the heart away. The screen zooms out from Marina's eyes, and as her full head comes into view diamonds are seen falling from the top of the screen and a white background that brightens the whole room. The beat of "Where The Diamonds Grow" begins and the wall rises. Marina is in a Y-shape formation, her arms spread into the sky and feet firmly together. She starts to lean her hip to the right. Her right hand lowers her microphone to her mouth as she sings the first line of the song, "I'm attracted". She quickly moves her left hand to her hip as she says the next line, "To the city". She slides her hand up to her breasts as she sings the next line, "Men mostly suited". She slides her hand to her thighs as she finally sings "Sexy booted". She twirls through the rest of the verse. As she reaches the bridge's first line "Give me dollar, give me dollar" she points to the right side of the stage and cash bursts out of cannons to the audience. She continues dancing and singing until she reaches the last line of the bridge "We want diamonds and dough". She points to the left side of the stage as money bursts out of cannons. The chorus begins with Marina center stage and money falling from the ceiling. She twirls her dress as the money falls. When the chorus ends, Marina starts strutting off stage towards the left side audience. She begins singing the next verse, rubbing up on men and women as she walks. She picks up a few dollar bills off the floor and stuff them in her bra. With the last line of the verse, Marina grabs the closest boy, dips down so her face is at his crotch, and sings "Family jewels, from fools, need protecting". She jumps back up and struts to the right side audience while singing another verse. The show's wall starts to lower to a screen showing a giant 100 dollar bill with Marina's head in the center, winking. As the final verse begins, Marina dances up the stairs of the audience. They start money at Marina and she giggles a bit. She makes her way back to the stage and stands with her left hand on her hip to sing the chorus one last time. The wall's screen changes to a zoom in of Marina's face as she sings the last part of the song: "You'd be kidding yourself, If you said that you didn't want it, And I'd be kidding myself, If I said I didn't think I'd be rich." The audience gives Marina a standing ovation as she bows. Ludacris gets out of his seat as Marina excitedly runs to hug him. Next she goes to Kesha and they share a few words. She skips the country guy on accident but tbh no one even watches the show for him. Marina makes her way to her guest chair and settles in to begin voting for the night. Before the show goes to a commercial break the judges joke about the money and singing to that one guy's junk, to which the audience laughs.
When the show comes back from its commercial break, the contestants compete to move on. Most of the performers make it through, and most of them get a vote from Marina. One of the contestant sings Marina's "Where The Diamonds Grow" much to Marina's surprise. She gasps and looks right at the camera excitedly when she hears the opening line of her song. She immediately slides her button to vote "yes" for the guy and heads over to Kesha's chair and has a mini fight to get her to slide it. When the guy is done Marina gets up to hug the guy and kisses him on his cheek. The other performances aren't notable. At the end of the episode "Where The Diamonds Grow" begins playing and all the singers who passed and the judges run on stage to dance to the cute bop.

I'll probably stick to traditional promo this week. I was trying to do some outside of the box random stuff the last couple of weeks. 
I'll let you guys decide on Dolly. Should she A - Continue her meltdown. B - Settle down and go back to traditional Dolly.

I think everyone did an awesome job this week. I don't even think Dolly really did enough for 500k but thank you Carlos. Your promo was far superior IMHO.
