We are looking for the TRL super fans from yesteryear who have participated on the show.

Are you Tiffiny, the ultimate Backstreet Boys fan who fought with Carson Daly on the air? Maybe you're Jerry, the Britney Spears fan who knew her moves like nobody else. Or perhaps you're Mike the "Fratboy" or Sara the President of the TRL fan club.

I was a fan of TRL back when I first started watching it in August 2000. I remember seeing a video by P.O.D. on the countdown of the first episode I caught part of. I started watching it regularly in September 2000. Over the next year, I would start taking notes on the countdown. I think I still have the notes somewhere in a shoebox in my room. I think I stopped watching TRL regularly in 2005 or so. Since the format change in 2008, I've stopped watching it entirely.

I plan to watch the final episode in November and maybe a few episodes before then. I may also watch FNMTV when it airs after the finale of TRL.

Yep I knew this was gonna happen this show was going downhill fast and almost begging to be cancelled. I will watch the final episode in November I hope they have some good guests on the final episode! Also I cant wait FNMTV 2 comeback!

It really is kind of sad to see TRL end this way when the majority of the members here, are here because of this show. I'm not gonna lie, I came here for the recap at first. I first started watching TRL consistently in 2003 and didn't miss too many episodes through 2006. 2004 & 2005 will always be some of my favorite years in music, as I tuned in to see if Britney Spears' "Toxic" could hold off "Chingy's" "One Call Away" and then later to see "We Belong Together" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes" complete amazing runs on the oountdown. I think the show went downhill starting with the introduction on the new format as well as the absence of Vanessa Minnilo, Suzie Castillo, and Suchin Pak. They really did form the face of the show.

Yeah, I came to this site searching for TRL recaps on 2006, and 2004-2005 era is really the best years of TRL. I remember the time when Rihanna's Pon De Replay is competing with Hilary's Wake Up and I was like, "OMG, that black girl needs to falloff!"
