Brazil earned that victory against Colombia, period. The goals were beautiful, and they managed to psych out Colombia towards the end and let the clock run.
However, the thing that bugs me about Brazil is that, due to the luck of the draw, they've been knocking out teams that I felt were more deserving than them given how they've been playing. Chile and Colombia gave it their all in their games, while Brazil hasn't been playing at the rate that I expect them to. They've honestly disappointed me in this World Cup...
So now what? Neymar's out for the rest of the WC and their captain, Silva, has been yellow-carded out of the game... The Brazilians are going to need a lot of luck against Germany. But the way it looks now, Latin America, which looked so strong at the start of the Round of 16, now has very low odds to win the WC, and I'm not particularly thrilled about that
