Finally Top 40 I need this to go Top 20! This girl deserves all the success in the world, her mixtapes are amazing, Easily one of my favourite artists period
First top 40 debut single from an R&B singer since JHud's "Spotlight" in 2008. (and Jhud had Idol and Dreamgirls helping her). Shows you how MONSTROUS this is for Tinashe. And it's not even close to peaking!
Before JHud, it was Cassie's "Me & U" which went to #3 in 2006, and Ciara's "Goodies" which went to #1 in 2004.

Maybe for a female singer, but didn't Jeremih's "Birthday Sex" go top 10 in 2009?

Tinashe has a commercial though for one of those acne products. That probably helped get her name out there at the very least.

Ur right! But yea, as far as females, Tinashe has the biggest debut in almost a decade. And it's not even close to peaking yet. Pop is just catching on. It could very well be top 10 by end of the month.
Will someone explain the Brooke Candy remix? Is it official in any sense, or did Brooke just hop on the track for fun? I love both versions, but I prefer Brooke's part.
