Comprehension is such a beautiful thing. My point was that top 40 is more warmed up to her as a feature on a pop song than not. I wish they had that ryan interview during her idol days where she had the revelation (cough cough when she first found out she was canned) about how fake the industry is...situations like that are what make me crave her masterpieces on this record. She's learned a lot.

PNP although sent to multi formats might have blown up if it were ariana grande or someone with an image that is symmetrical with that song but it'll take more than revealing her real hair for pop and urban fans to buy into the new Nicki.

PNP is the start and I have a feeling by the end of the era mission will be accomplished.

It definitely is currently an underperformance for a first single which are traditionally end up being the biggest single of the era (even with it smashing on Rhythmic and in Australia while doing moderately well on urban radio and in the UK), but I'm glad it was released now and not later. As Slw has stressed, she made a statement with it and now it is time to bring out the big guns. Even if it had smashed on pop radio and in general, the big guns would have had to come out anyway lol.

Bang Bang will hopefully smash on pop + rhythmic radio while she brings out an urban banger that smashes on urban + rhythmic radio. Two big hits around the same time is enough to release an album on and get big numbers imo, but if the special month (or however she phrased it) is November, I hope both BB and the second single have really great longevity and don't peak until close to the album release, which might not happen if it is November.

From the beginning to the very end with her rendezvous with the bunny and the overdone tilt of the head...it was full of theatrics.

I think the other poster simply forgot the BET performance as it was overshadowed by her soon to be iconic speech
