I checked FQMB's list of songs available for airplay from the past month and a half and both PNP + Pretty Hurt's original Pop adds date were cancelled. It was going to be sent the second time this past week, but that was cancelled (as we know) as well.

Hmm...
Pre-adds exist for a reason
Testing out on radio exists for a reason as well.
How would it be sent a 2nd time if it wasn't sent to pop the first time as claimed.
I also access FQMB, kworb and All access for radio stats.
This was getting decent spin increases for a reason...it just didn't pick up.
Pop wants a certain kind of Nicki Minaj...PNP isn't it. Kudos for the attempt though.

WOOOOW. I'll probably miss it but that makes me really excited that she can even do more urban and pop songs:
Add Fly, pound the alarm, Va va voom, High school, maybe Roman's revenge and Roman Reloaded and more features than I originally wanted.

It still should be doing a lot better on Pop.
She's not a new artist and she had a radio deal and called pop stations.

Yes on the first sentence,
Not commenting on the radio deal situation but she is an established artist that had enough of a break that the song could have done better if top 40 wanted that from her.

I see it like this... They haven't abandoned Nicki; they are just not a fan of Pills N Potions lol. It is probably too "deep" for them + it is the summertime and everyone wants a cute little bop. Pop radio will always play the hell out of Nicki's bops (watch Bang Bang take off) and remain picky and choosy with the inspirational bops.

I'd say they are set in a certain Nicki image.
I mean in the urban world it's taking time for them to get used to so of course in the pop world it would.
Um, Adele music deeper than anything Nicki has put out.
that's why I wanted PNP for the spring and for her to have her crossover summer smash.
They will play her as a feature before they play her as a main.
Urban will play her as a main

If Pop doesn't want to play it then they don't want to play it. It has nothing to do with Nicki, because Super Bass and Starships both have amazing recurrent airplay.
Pop is fickle with certain artists. They'd rather play Drunk in Love then XO and Pretty Hurts.
We're getting Bang Bang anyway, which they'll be inclined to play.

I understand you are addressing people that are not too familiar with radio however, DIL was pushed after it blew up on urban and it still didn't have longevity on pop.
Peaked outside of the top 10 and fell quickly which like many other songs with payola tends to happen. Justin hit #1 after his label paid for play and had one of the quickest drops out of the top 10 for a #1 song I've seen in awhile.
Superbass and Starships have great recurrent play because that is what Top 40 wants to hear from her. It happens to 90% of the people that have an extreme image and identity...its hard for GP to want different unless they decide they are tired of you.
She could have milked a couple more pop singles and pop would have enjoyed it but she bowed up before reaching the point of overkill which is smart but they still craved her pop stuff.
I'm looking forward to bang bang giving her that feature hit play on top 40. Of course she's credited; however, they see two singers and a rapper and will look at Nicki as the feature. It is what it is...
