I grew up in the suburbs of Texas (earlier) and Georgia (later), so basically dominated by wealthy white people and I still didn't hear any of her songs. I knew her name, but yeah none of her music until 4minutes became a hit and I heard it on the radio a few times.
She has no timeless hit, but Like a Virgin would be her closest since damn straight no one is going around playing Papa Don't Preach and Like a Prayer (like people on this forum think). Those are good songs that had impact at the time, but have none now.
The first time many of the younger generation heard her (or any songs other than 4minutes rather) was at the Super Bowl and her performance got an expected negative reaction from the younger generation. She's extremely disliked by the newer generation because every time she is in the media isn't something rather negative and she comes off as a 50 year old trying to look 18. Not like she can sing either
