Where is the impact tho?
The iconic hits?
Madonna has that. Moo doesn't
I mean,
Do you still refuse to believe 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' will have more impact than Madonna's career? It must make y'all really FUME, knowing Mariah got that cheap pass with 1 Christmas song.
'Always Be My Baby' is also debatabely more iconic and memorable than any Madonna song. I've heard it on radio more than Madonna's discography combined, legit.

Y'all make it seem like Mariah doesn't have any type of impact. She has been an inspiration to vocalists for years. Her songs have become staples on vocal competitions.
And I'd say "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is more iconic and more well-known than any Madonna song. Madonna really doesn't really have a song that transcends her '80s and '90s gay following.

That's probably because you don't listen to much AC, Oldies, or pure Pop stations. Madonna legitimately gets more recurrent airplay.
Can't even be disputed. Just because you don't hear her songs doesn't equal they're not played.
Madonna gets much more airplay than Mariah, but Mariah has more recent hits that are more remembered in the US as well (WBT, Obsessed, etc). And both have had a lot of impact on pop.

It has nothing to do with "stans of local ghetto artists." Nicole, for example, has made this point before and she hardly stans for local ghetto artists. Madonna is not that well-known to the new audiences, hence why her YouTube plays are so low. That's not to take away from her impact and longevity.
