You can view the amount of times any song has been Spotified by hovering over its "popularity bar" via its album page -- this is how I'm able to see that Down on Me and Birthday Sex each have more plays than anything Trey Songz has released.

Mariah's album was surprisingly good. Like in my top 3 so far this year.
I was expecting an E=MC˛ mess.

I thought last.fm disbanded their radio this year?
But anyways, Spotify is worth it for me 'cause I get Premium free the black way.
I just sign up for a free 30 day trial and cancel when it's over, then make a new account each time. I basically get it on my laptop, phone, and with no ads for free.
Gotta save my $$$ for albums!

And if you had read a bit more on the Wiki article, you would have realized most of those countries received the service from like December 2013 onwards. Existing in a country =/= the main way in which people consume music. It's still a very niche service in most of the world, as the low listen counts demonstrate (compared to something like YouTube).

Whether it's available in 10 or 100 countries Madonna is more global!11!! then Mariah and has had 'way bigger and memorable hits' so her plays should be much higher.

Yes?
Last.fm = tracking music plays.
Spotify = playing music.
Plus, they have a last.fm integration that puts your plays on there.

There ARE some albums that aren't on Spotify tho.
****ing Coldplay, Anastacia, and Sam Smith. I WANT to listen to their albums but they're not on Spotify so I'll just wait it out.
I literally waited like a year for RED to show up on Spotify to listen to it.

I only use Spotify to support my faves and discover new music.
I prefer to buy the albums/songs on zippyshare tbh.

She is more global than Mariah, and she has had way bigger and more memorable hits. Stats on Spotify don't change that.

Russia either.
It makes Spotify's global coverage map things look so much worse!
