This album is really hard for me to listen to. Not sure what separates it from all the other music in the same vein that I love, but there's something so disconcerting about how she talks about violence. Maybe it's the length at which she does it that makes it off-putting as an album. The first four tracks are AMAZING though.
I thought I was the only one that felt that way. Free The Animal is my 2nd favorite song on the album right after Chandelier, but the lyrics are just so violent I'm shocked her label even allowed her to sell it. But it also inspires me as a songwriter to not restrain myself after seeing her be so open with her material and life.

Wait how do you know? I also bought it but the website doesn't specifically say when the order would come in All it says for me is that my order was split into two (because i order three other albums)
uhmm I'll listen to the itunes stream and see if I like it. I don't really like Chandelier, her voice (more like I can't understand some things of what she is singing) is off putting. She tends to eat/cut some words. Though, I guess it depends on the song because holy f*** Elastic Heart from the Hunger Games soundtrack is amazing
Ok here's my rankings. Had to listen to it one more time to finally decide.
