Definitely, and I think that based on his rehab and therapeutic experiences, he's used to stating things plainly and making it bluntly obvious how he's feeling. No filter, no regrets.
But that's not going to work in this game, especially with the characters in this cast.
Not to mention that he tried to do too much too soon and make a big, big splash!
