This nis exactly how I feel and , tbh, I think many others do as well.
Madonna, to me, is all about the music (including, of course, videos and tours) and her persona/personality . Movies she played a role in or directed have always been an 'obligation'. They have never gotten any further attention for me.
That's why everytime she announces a new movie , I cringe. Not because I think they're gonna suck but because I know it'll take a lot of her time and energy off from making music and that's (in reality) is the Madonna I fell in love with and really care for .
