YASS I really like it
Even though it's not at the same level of other Zedd's productions I didn't expect it to be like that. This is Ariana's song so her vocals should shine above all, he could've done a bit more but probably they didn't want him to overshadow Ariana.
The thing that makes Zedd genius for me are the melodies. They are amazingly original, addictive, and lay over the production so beautifully.
For me it's a combination of her breathy voice feeling really heavy on this style of production that take the EDM out of it, it almost feels like 90's dance pop a la I'm Every Woman or We Got A Love Thang . That's a compliment to Ariana, but the chorus doesn't feel as bright as it should. Granted she shines on the bridge.
I could maybe get into it after a few more listens, but with Zedd, I usually like it instantly.

It's good, but certainly not great. It's something which has been done many, many times before. Problem is much stronger IMO - it had a real sense of originality and it felt new and fresh.

Well, you can't compare Zedd to Max Martin. Oh well, at least it's good.
