My older brother (as always) was obsessed with her and I remember him buying The Diary of Alicia Keys at Walmart and playing it non-stop.
He loved these 2 videos from her, I'm not sure which one, but one was of her being a waitress and another of her playing a piano in a colosseum. He replayed them so much.
AKA a white answer to Alicia Keys back in the day.
