I really don't think K-pop songs will get much UK radio support. The UK like something different but the superficiality of the K-pop groups (that is not meant as a drag) will not be as accepted in my opinion.
That's a fair point, but the UK seems to enjoy their vocal groups.
Take That, Spice Girls, Sugababes, Girls Aloud, One Direction, Little Mix, The Saturdays, etc.
I mean the UK is probably the best entry point for k-pop in the west.

I doubt it. A lot of British acts are superficial but still very successful. Again not a drag (well not a full drag) but Cheryl, The Saturdays, Little Mix etc. are just as superficial as a K-pop act, but they still get away with it.
I'm not talking novelty like Psy or anything, I think if an idol group or act tried seriously, they could do well there.
Speaking on English market attempts, if SM were to ever attempt to bring SNSD back to the States, they should whittle down the group to only the members that are capable of singing in English:
Tiffany
Jessica
Taeyeon
Seohyun

Yeh, but it is important to remember that they didn't come out the blue. All of them came out of reality shows in which revealed their personality.
Little Mix were very likable throughout X Factor. K-pop acts are more symbolic of sex. The UK have always frowned upon those type of groups. We associate artist's stage presence with their personality.

^but groups like the Saturdays, Little Mix, One Direction, etc; were all accepted there first even though they were just put together by companies...I would say the popularity of 'X Factor' and such in the UK, versus America, means they're way less aware of the "superficiality" part

I suppose that's point. However most K-pop groups now have very raunchy dance routines. It'd take a while for the UK to accept that. I also don't think the cute concept will go down very well either. This is aimed more towards girl groups, boy groups are more accepted her than girl groups are.

idk why, I don't think it's a bad idea. (I think Sooyoung would be the ideal choice, good dancer, people like her looks last go around, and she has the best english of the dancers. She's also on a higher vocal level than the other dancers too, so that's a plus.)
