Yeah but the other countries that she's not that relevant and it matters a lot more than just one big market. She's just famous in the US because urban is huge here and the niche is huge. But in other countries she's just you know ''another artist there''. The pure truth.

Musically speaking, no she isn't

She isn't pushing as many albums as Adele, Taylor, Bruno, Eminem or Pink. Or snatching #1's left and right like Katy or Rihanna.

However as a celebrity, yes. She has a bigger media/cultural presence than any other artists. Many other successful artists lack her power, influence and pull. Few people can drop an album out of nowhere, seldom promote it and have a top 2 charting hit and garner sales of over 3.2 million copies.

I can't tell seeing her tour gross in other countries were better than most. She has a DIAMOND album in one country while others don't. She sold over 11 million singles in South K. alone others haven't. She has #1 albums in countries others don't. She has huge deals with the #1 brand in one country, others don't. Who else can tour the world without any new music supporting it and gross $230M? Her album topped iTunes in 111 countries, which hasn't been done before, without ANY warning or single and went on to becoming the fastest-selling album in iTunes history...WORLDWIDE. Pretty damn good for someone who's ''another artist there'' in some countries. STOP fooling yourself.

I personally found her a breath of fresh air in the industry considering it's present state. She was available to sell well, and garner hits without going completely naked and all at the same time being contreversy free and keeping her personal life private. We need more artists like that tbh.
