I just finished watching that 30 minute video "Evolution of Taylor Swift's Voice" (2005-2014). I'm more convince "Red" is her best album to date. Her voice just got stronger and stronger each album but with "Red" all live performances SLAYED. I see now why new fans like myself went backwards from Red, Speak Now to Fearless to appreciate her songwriting prowess and overall talent. The girl worked hard, she had a drive to get better.
LP5 will be FIERCE!!!

Watching it right now. It's amazing how much her voice has improved over the years. She may not have the best voice ever but she definitely has amazing control over it. More than some artists with "better" voices than her.

Whoever said you need to be a perfect vocalist to be a great singer?
You don't need a great voice to be a great musician, lyricist, and songwriter. Look at Bob Dylan, he really didn't have a great voice at all, but damn, he was one of the greatest songwriters and lyricists to have ever existed.
It annoys me to no end, how people will base someone's talent only on vocals and bash Taylor because of that alone. Most of the other Pop Girls might have great vocals, but they are really not musicians at all, because they don't write their own music and do not play instruments, but as far as I am concerned, talent is behind the songwriting, instruments, and lyrics and not just the vocals.
