Except that's different. When your team wins, the entire franchise expands, the entire city/country is pushed into the spotlight. Y'all are champions for a year, you get more attention, better players, better endorsements, better deals etc. Plus a lot of the time that's more to do with national/hometown pride etc.
A pop star topping Forbes list changes nothing. They continue doing the same things they did before they topped the list.
