If the US had been through even half the **** a lot of those European countries have been through (you know, not stealing your land and culture hihi), then it'd be practically impossible to be of new money there too.

Stealing our land and culture? If I recall, European countries "stole" the land of the Americas and imposed their culture upon it (much like they did in every other corner of the earth), but couldn't maintain control.
