Kill your children. I've only heard "kill your darlings," meaning you sometimes have to cut the parts of something (like lines of a song) that you personally love because you understand the overall piece would be better without them.
I was at Pride all day (where I met one of my songwriting idols, Adore Delano) and have events to go to tonight, but I think mine will be in early too. If everyone is in way early, will we get results way early as well?
Also, it hit me today that I made it to the finals for two seasons now.

Interestingly, if you take only the past 5 rounds of the game all 3 of our averages are within less than .1 points, and I actually average higher than Tymps.
Also I think if we submitted Monday I think it would be fair to have results maybe Wednesday (or earlier if you want)

I always thought it would be cool to do a challenge where we're given the first line of the song and have to write the rest. If I were host, I'd just pick the opening lines to some of my favorite songs (and try to pick less known songs):

Then it would be really interesting to see where the contestant takes the song in comparison to what the real song is about!
