It's so sad. Maleficent was the last film I was reaaaally looking forward to for quite awhile and, while I definitely enjoyed it and Jolie was fantastic in it, it suffered from scripting issues and tonal shifts. Also looking forward to GOTG. As far as Oscar buzz movies go, though, it's been pretty quiet. The strong films have been either blockbusters (Cap. 2, DOFP) or art films (Under The Skin, Borgman)
Gone Girl should be fantastic, though.
