Fancy is doing well and is slaying the charts, but considering so many people agree the reasons for its success are the video, the production and Charli's featured chorus, I don't think it's fair that people brag about it's success like it's all come down to how talented Iggy is. Honestly try and tell me that with a dodgy video and an acapella rendition without Charli's chorus the song would still do well.
Black Widow will be exactly the same. It will slay. In fact I think it will go to #1 as well. It's got a phenomenal chorus/hook from a really talented girl with an amazing voice. The production is perfect. The video will be incredible. But just like Fancy, how much of its success can be attributed to Iggy? Barely any imo.
You can brag about the success of her single, but let's be real, she's not the cause for its success.

But even her mixtapes sound effortless. It's not like she's trying. Rapping comes naturally to her. She's not trying to be a rapper. She just is a rapper.
She's naturally talented. It's not like she was like "oh I really want to be a rapper so I'm going to work work work and make it happen" despite not having any real natural talent for it. Iggy herself has said she was terrible when she started. Got into a freestyle rap and embarrassed herself because she had nothing except pre-written material and couldn't come up with it on the spot. She's a rap fan but not a rapper by nature. Hence why it sounds forced and inauthentic.
It'll be interesting to see if Iggy can get a hit without a catchy pop chorus from a featured pop star, aka the bit that makes a song.

Clearly considering Iggy's rap is the part that's making Fancy a hit? Like hello have you been around a group of people when the song comes on everyone goes crazy to the second verse and the I-G-G-Y part. Also Work is an obvious #1 waiting to happen!
