There were some songs that seemed a bit juvenile in PRISM (Roar) but I really do not buy it as childish. Birthday is very tongue-in-cheek (despite whatever kiddy message that music video was trying to give) and I thought Unconditionally, Legendary Lovers, and By The Grace of God to be great and occasionally inspired. Dark Horse speaks for itself. It's her image, not so much the music imho.
Agreed about the persona thing, it's like she had a lobotomy. She used to be so cool but I saw her in an interview recently and I wondered what the f*ck happened to her

When my sister went to see Katy (she got a free ticket hihi) she said it was 99% 12 year olds who had dragged their parents along. Perry was recently billed as "the most expensive childs entertainer"

I've always maintained that even the shittiest, grainiest, recorded-on-a-potato Gaga performances are miles better than anything Katy could pull off. Some people really are just born with it

My favorite performance by Gaga. I hope she can start doing performances like this again later on.. her performances this era sans Applause @ VMAs, Dope @ YouTube, Do What U Want @ Alan Carr were just tragic. I don't even want to watch this one.. all of the rage inside the beast being let out after her label forcing her to make the song a single.
