I'm not even saying that it is, but let's just say race is a factor for the sake of argument. That doesn't mean that a white person can't be hated for something unrelated to race. That wouldn't take away from people profiling Devin as a big angry black guy.
The "Big and angry" part is what its is all about, not the "black" part, because it is easily exchangeable with "white" and you get the same negative picture as with "black".
