December was the last time that Gaga was in UK. And her promo there really paid off considering that DWUW hit top 10 and the album was selling decent. The only huge promo was The X Factor. So why would you expect from Gaga to sell more if she didn't have a hit there since December-January

Yes, but WW BEYONCE went on to sell over 3.3 million. Sold more than UA and up to par with 20/20 Experience in terms of sale (given the "hype" circumstances).

1 promo performance.

If anything, it died because of lack of continuing promo. Trust and believe had she promoted, it would have sold more.
