She's alienating the GP by releasing an R&B track as the lead single and an EDM track as the second one. All of it before the album drops. People don't know what to expect from the album
I love her and I hope this era continues smashing, tho
I wonder what the "sound" of her album will be like.
Her first album went from a lot of R&B inspired and remained that flow for the rest of the album.
Her new album is going from pop (Problem) to EDM (Break Free), and as you heard from her releasing snippets, she's recorded basically some Yours Truly 2.0 tracks which are R&B inspired, so basically three types of genre in one.
I like it! Zedd's production is usually generic EDM/Pop but they're such guilty pleasures of mine. This should be a hit. But it won't be as massive as Problem was though.
I'd have to wait to listen to it on full to determine which one is better, Better Left Unsaid or this.
Dance music and generic are NOT synonymous. I honestly think a lot of people do not understand the term "generic". You literally cannot tell if it's generic or not by that snippet.
