I think it would be in her best interest to do the following:
remind people of her 2014 feature prowess and promote PnP.
In an interview, mentioned her studio time and that a new single is on the horizon late July
then in late July give us the album release date.

Nope. Fancy is only just starting to get play over the past month and the nominations were announced what in May or so.
Keep in mind that the awards are done in June so the timeframe from May of 2013- May of 2014 is probably the scope of work.

It is THE FIRST PERSONIFICATION of the toned down image with the toned down music to match versus her toned down image with the gritty ghetto urban stuff and vice versa.
Freedom was a tri hard to be subtle whereas PnP was authentic.
THIS NEEDED To happen.
I honestly think that PnP might approach gold on its own.
It WAS NECESSARY for her to start the era out with this message and to do it by herself.
I'd bet my 93k soon to be 98.9k in August (they have nerve to not prepare me for 100k domination but i'll take it), my owned home and car that 2nd single WILL have a feature and will be that urban SUMMER/EARLY fall smash that will reinvigorate the urban community but it was imperative and urgent that she did this first before going into the obvious commercial front.
Like Cry me a river did for Like i love you and some other songs of recent times that helped underperforming songs sell better overtime...I think her next single will help PnP out a bit.
This has happened before but I can't recall any other examples.
PNP was necessary but we really need that URBAN/crossover HIT while its still summer and before the album.

PNP shows vulnerability, introspection, retrospection and growth.
her 2nd single needs to be triumphant, celebratory, aspirational and motivational for both genders but also fun exuberant, exciting and interesting...WHICH I'M SURE SHE WILL ACHIEVE.
I really want her to do PnP (AS I SAID BEFORE) i hope she just does two promos for PnP

PnP: Summer Jam (1/2 way promo, Grammys 1/2 way, BET Awards and 4th of July concert and 1/2 african concert)
2nd single: VMAs, Iheartradio, african concert, EMAs, AMAs, September promo in UK, regular album tour junket TV, internet etc.
Album promo:
3rd single: AMAs and/or Grammy's, Jingle ball)
