Basically I think we need to tune our expectations. The teasers and album name might sound "edgier"/grown up, but the teasers for Pink Tape were kind of like that too and we got Rum Pum Pum....
So I decided to watch WGM for Hong Jong Hyun and he's paired with Yura from Girl's Day. I kinda regret not investing my time into learning more about Girl's Day now. The way they reacted when Hong Jong Hyun entered the room . They're so funny. Yura's personality is just so likable too, I've definitely been missing out. I like her.
And because of that let me check out GD's discography.
I admit, as time has gone on, SNSD's tones became really same-y
It's because SM keeps messing with the vocal dynamic. Taeyeon and Jessica as the main vocalists have always been a winning combination. You can look through all of SNSD's biggest hits and both of them are crucial to the songs.
Since TTS, SM have been trying to promote Tiffany as some kind of vocal messiah and it is failing so hard. She has so many lines in the Mr. Mr. mini, but her voice isn't strong or unique enough to take the center stage like Taeyeon or Jessica. Her high notes can be really strained and wailing sounding, it's horrible, plus her incoherent shouting over songs makes it worse.
Jessica's voice is marmite, but it's offset by Taeyeon and their voices combine so well, it's almost scary. Just listen to You-Aholic and The Great Escape to hear the best of Taeyeon and Jessica together. They are the ones that make SNSD sound good.
It's time to put Tiffany back into speaking English lines in the background and supporting TaengSic with Seohyun because her vocals aren't made for the lead as that Mr. Mr. cover proved.
Probably already posted. But the gay tea realness in this teaser image isn't something I'd expect from a K-pop boyband
Ren shouldn't be the one with his abs flashing, he's always appeared as the baby of the group. It seems out of place how the two members seem to appear 'flirty' with him.
In Korea body contact between men isn't seen as weird or invasive like it is here, though. To them that's just seen as friendly, there's nothing really homoerotic about it, at least not to them.

After following NU'EST for, what, 3 years now-- this is all sorta expected and not out of place.

Tiffany's voice isn't strong or unqiue enough to take center stage but Jessica is? Jessica's voice is about as stable as Britney's knee and her voice doesn't compliment Taeyeons in any twisted light you try to present it in.
DYING at you citing You-aholic as a reference as if that song didn't have more auto-tune in it than Ke$ha's entire discography. Sadly for you, SNSD's best work was their first and second Japanese albums where Tiffany was promoted well beyond Jessica in the vocals department.
You will rate all the songs from 1-10 and send it to me by PM. Make sure you rated all the songs or your vote won't be accepted.
Troll votes will not be accepted as well, so don't even try. All the songs listed have links to youtube so please check the ones you don't know before voting.

SHINee did it with Sherlock and many have done it beforehand too. Even in a place where gays might not be that accepted, homo-eroticism still works as a selling point for teenage female fans.
