Her music or image doesn't show in any of those artists' styles. I just wish Britney fans would finally come to terms with the facts that she isn't a Madge or Michael. Nothing is wrong with being used for nostalgic purposes.

That's no excuse. She had no real reason to throw a kitty fit and endanger innocent children. Didn't her bodyguard come out in 2010 or around that time about how she openly favored one kid over the other?

To be a legend, your image and impact have to be so solidified into culture that they don't even have to be explained--you just grow up knowing these people existed and that they're important. Aretha never reached that level, sorry. She pushed so many boundaries but she's not a universal force for everyone (although I'm sure she is for some). Madonna has come quite close, but everybody knows at this point she's an opportunistic prostitute (and I mean ACTUAL prostitute) who got lucky.

Sorry, Hype. I don't really see Usher as an anything legend. He has classic songs here and there, but so did people like Lionel Ritchie. Yet Lionel doesn't command the same respect and clout as some of his other 80s peers.

When he walks into a room, people don't think "legend!". I think Usher will be remembered in the same vein as Lionel.
